Step aboard a traditional wooden sailing dhow for a full day around Mnemba Island, a private island off the north-east coast of Zanzibar. Unlike most excursions that wrap up at midday, this one stays out until sunset — from 1:00 PM the crowds thin out and the lagoon is yours.

Schedule & meeting point

• Departure from Kendwa Beach at 9:00 or 10:00 AM
• Sailing to Mnemba: approx. 1.5 hours, with a chance of spotting dolphins along the way — always observed respectfully, never chased
• Return around 6:30 PM, sailing home into the sunset
• Operated by Boss Lady's Dhow
